About our bot

Klik-Nik operates an automated feed fetcher that periodically requests publicly published RSS/Atom feeds from publishers who have configured them in our system, in order to display headlines, short excerpts, and links back to the original article.

What it does

• Requests only the specific feed URLs configured by our site administrators — no broad crawling.
• Respects each feed's configured fetch interval (typically every 15–60 minutes).
• Uses conditional HTTP requests (ETag / If-Modified-Since) to minimize load on publisher servers.
• Never attempts to bypass paywalls, logins, robots.txt restrictions, or anti-bot measures.

Opt-out / removal

If you are a publisher and want your feed removed from Klik-Nik, or want to block our bot, contact us at [EMAIL] and we will disable the source. You can also block KlikNikBot via your own robots.txt or server firewall.
